Public transport

Veliko Turnovo is not that large city. Buses run from 7 am till 9 pm every 20 minuties. Lines 20, 50 and 40 go to Tsarevets. If you want to go to Gorna Oryahovitsa and the Gorna Oryahovitsa train station, take line. Most people prefer the minibuses, which stop near the Veliko Tarnovo market. Tickets are bought in the bus from a conductor. The ticket is valid for one ride and costs 1.00 lv (about 0.50 euro).
